Will is a thirty-year-old childish grown up. He is single, but tries all he can to get all of the women to like him. In other terms, he is a player. Marcus relationship to Will is very complicated, but they act like best friends. What Marcus hardly knows, is that Will uses him to score more chicks.
SvarSlettWill's father was an earlier rockstar who had one song which burst through Britain. He beacame popular and was very rich. Will, the son of this person, got affected by this. So now, he's a childish grown up who loves women. He does not work, because of the money of his father. Marcus comes into his life, and he accepts it, because he sees the oppertunity in him.
I know that your impression of Will is very bad by now, but he is actually a good person. He just doesn't know any better. Through the story, he actually helps Marcus with his problems, such as style and music taste, also giving tips and advices to the youngster. Will tries to solve his own problems through Marcus aswell. The story goes on...
I expirience will as a "young" 36-year-old. He doesn't seem to take his life very seriously, and I don't think he's much of an adult. He doesn't work and he live of the money from he's dad's famous christmas-carol. Will doesn't dream of a family-life, and he doesn't want to get married or have children. He just want's to live his own life, having no responsibility for anyone or anything. I think he's a bit of an "as". The author present's will as a immature, careless and selfish. I think Will thinks of himself as very cool and handsome. It seems like the only thing he ever cared about, was he's wxpensive clothes, his haircut and he's "amazing" appearance. He looooooves women and can't get enough of them. Even though he's life in a slobby way, I think he's proud of it. It seems like Will live this kind of life to impress the ladies. After the reading about Will Freeman in "about a boy" i experience him as a slobby, selfish young 36-year-old, but after he develops a relationship with Marcus, he grow up to be responsible and muture.
SvarSlettWill Freeman is kind of an careless person. In spite of his 36 years he is very childish. Will doesn't think about getting a family and a job. He is oppiste from other 36 years old who wants to get a house, a great job and a family. Will wants to be a baby for as long as possible. He means a perfekt life would be to not make any money himself, to care only about himself and not have to be responsible for anyone else. Will doesn't have a job and haven't thought of getting one either. He is extremly relaxed for his age and think about himself as very cool. He dress very fashionable, were's expenciev clothes and shoes, get's expencievs haircuts etc. Will believes that the ladies are attracted to that he only cares about himself, gets money from a famous Christmas carol his father once wrote and live life as an careless teenager.

But spite all this Will is a loving person deep inside to. He helps Marcus, tries to make the better out of the situation with Fiona and develope a great relationship with Marcus. Don't forget that.
Will is a 36 years old man that acts like a teenager. He goes to the rights clubs, wears the right clothes and he always wear a nice pair of trainers. He is single so he uses to go to spat, to hook some ladies. He do not work, but lives from the royalties of his father’s song; “Santa’s Super Sleigh.” Later in the book Will and Marcus become good friends. They act like best friends, but I do not think they really are. I think Will use Marcus to win his mum, because one of the things Will really care of is womans.
SvarSlettWill maybe seams like an asshole but I think he is good inside. I think he takes the life a bit to easy, and chill. After all he is an intelligent man.
